I bought this phone for my daughter about 2 weeks ago. It is a fantastic phone so far. The first day we had it, it was dropped by accident onto a ceramic tile floor from about 3 feet height and the phone showed no signs of damage (although maybe we were just lucky there was none.) The touchscreen response started working very well after she used it for a while. At first, she'd have to tap twice to get it to recognize her touch, but now it responds very well on each first tap. One minor problem is the position of the internet access button on the physical qwerty keyboard. She hit it by accident several times while texting, although she said it is easy to get back to what she intended to do easily. I would be nice if the screen had some better protection. I have a hard vinyl case on order through Ebay which I am hoping will help in the event of accidental dropping etc. There is a sign of a small bubble in the black surface off to the side of the touchscreen but it doesnt affect the touchscreen operation. We've seen no signs of bubbling on the active part of the screen so far. The phone software is amazing. Very easy to use. My daughter hasnt even read the manual for the phone yet but she is using it for messaging like every 5 minutes it seems.
