The phone has a solid design to it, light weighted, and VERY nice soft touch buttons. Unlike other phones that had their "cheap, but sturdy buttons." Example Samsung U740.
It is a very simple and straight forward phone to use, do not really need to read the manual as the phone itself IS VERY self-explanatory. My husband and I love the phone in addition to the bell palm pre that we also just acquired a week prior to this.
Koodo mobile also offers another reasonable way alternative of contract option through their "tab" version, you are still tied into a contract, but, through a rather FRACTION of the price of "buying out/cancelling" your phone contract with the other big 3 telecommunication companies: Telus, Rogers, and Bell, and their subsidiaries: Virgin Mobile, Solo, or Fido. (as far as I know)
