My G1 has NEVER WORKED AS A CELL PHONE. It drops calls received, or dialed, within a minute of start of either type call. Voice mail drops off before finishing the verbal intro. Repeated attempts to get this fixed have all failed. Company refuses to let me return the device, even though they cannot get it to work, siting "remorse" period is past. However, they have not been able to get the phone to work.

I am a long time T-Mobile user, but, they have totally failed to live up to their previous standard of integrity or service.

If you want just browsing, email, this is excellent and fast.

IT IS NOT A PHONE, however...

THE COMPANY DOES NOT PROVIDE SERVICE OR SUPPORT FOR THEIR G1 phone.

Avoid this thing if cell phone service is what you are buying.
