I got this little baby when i first entered university from Telus. It stuck with me for 4 years and still going strong. Even though my contract expired one year ago, i am still hesitant to part with this phone.

I only wish that no-frills phones like this are still around. If you are heading off to university, get a phone like this. It wont be stolen, it is durable (dropped it numerous times), and call clarity is unparelleled.

My biggest gripe would be the horrendiously slow boot time! If you decide to charge the phone from shut down, the phone boots into the OS, only to display the 'battery charging screen' which could take upwards of a minute. Then if you wanted to make a phone call you have to 'turn on' the phone which results in booting into the OS a second time.

Also the phone has a tendency to take photos inadvertantly. The camera button is to blame.

The battery lasts for about 3 days in between charges (which i deem completely acceptible) and the call quality is still amazing.

Im graduating this year, and entering a post-graduate program. Although I would love to keep this phone, I think a smart phone is required
