UTStarcom 6700 / Reviews

I've had this phone now for about 4 months. I spend lots of time out of the office and needed full access to a number of email accounts, a full web browser that could access https bank sites, a digital camera, and mp3 player when I go to the gym.

It was perfect timing when I came across this device. The HTC Apache has been fantastic in that I get everything I need in one device and only a few negative points.

Pros:
-Multi use device
-Easy navigation with Windows OS
-Synchs flawlessly
-Multiple email client including gmail
-MP3 player and 1.3M camera
-Bluetooth and infrared
-Phone has good reception
-Slide out keyboard is excellent in function and form

Cons:
-No lockout function when listening to mp3s so the navigation button can be bumped when I jog...stopping the song. It has dialed out after being bumped too.
-Phone buttons are a bit small
-Battery life is ok
-It's not much to look at
-Stylus comes out from antenna holder easily. I've lost 2 stylus so far to I'm now using my old Palm stylus which fits in the hold very tightly.
-Lighted keyboard is excellent, but the numbers are hard to see in dim light.

Overall this is an excellent phone and pda and I'm extremely happy with it.
