Worse Phone Ever
7/10
This is my first Sony Ericsson phone and I hate it. I had previously owned an Ericsson phone and lets just say the only reason why I replaced it was because I had no other choice or I would've kept using it. What did Sony do???
Pros: Nice sleek style phone, very compact and sturdy. I've dropped it a couple of times, but nothing has broken or dislodged. Good menu options, games and easy to use applications. Good joystick design very user friendly and convenient and I think with care will last a long time.
Cons: Bad photo quality, bad reception and this is compared to other phones of different cellphone companies, other phones that Fido carries and even compared to other Sony Ericsson phones! I've lost reception where other Sony Ericssons still worked! Software problem, since owning the phone I've had to send it in for repairs due to software problem. It creates a really bad high pitched squeal while you're on the phone. They more or less fixed the problem, but from time to time I still get the squeal. Buttons are sometimes too sensitive, sending my text msgs before I'm done typing them and sometimes irresponsive causing me to stand there clicking on something for a long time.
Recommendation: Don't buy this phone. It's a really nice looking phone, but its flaws are not worth the buy. I mean I get poor reception at home and isn't that the whole point of a phone for convenience?
