Pantech Pocket MobileBurn
A unique smartphone amidst a sea of look-a-likes
Pantech Pocket

Dan Seifert from MobileBurn ( 2 months ago )

6/10

The Pantech Pocket is certainly a unique device, whose characteristics allow it to excel at some tasks, while impede it with others. The phone's wide display is great for browsing the web, but the slow processor can make loading web pages a chore. Those with fast thumbs will enjoy messaging on a wide... More

HTC Rezound Brighthand
Sounds great, looks great, and performs exceptionally well in every respect
HTC Rezound

Jen Edwards from Brighthand ( 2 months ago )

9/10

The HTC Rezound is an impressive device and an all-around winner. It has landed the #1 spot on my "if I needed to buy a phone" list, and is probably at the top of any gift recipient's list that you might be shopping for this holiday season.

It sounds great, it looks great, and it performs exceptionally... More

Samsung Repp Cnet
Great price, pretty small and decent set of features
Samsung Repp

Jessica Dolcourt from Cnet ( 2 months ago )

6/10

Whether you consider the Samsung Repp boils down to a couple of conditions: if you aren't fussed by its small size, its more simple outlook, or the lower-capacity everything, it's probably the right on-contract price. Android keeps it up-to-date, but I wouldn't be surprised if Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich... More

HTC Explorer GSMArena
Sense/Gingerbread combo looks good and web browser does Flash easily
HTC Explorer

GSMArena team from GSMArena ( 2 months ago )

N/A

When the HTC Explorer was announced our first thought was "Nothing we haven't seen. Next one please" but we admit we were wrong. The 600MHz processor did much better than expected - the chipset is much better than what the Wildfire S had.
The Explorer particularly impressed us when it handled Flash... More

HTC Rhyme GSMArena
Ladies would love the accessories and the phone's looks
HTC Rhyme

GSMArena Team from GSMArena ( 2 months ago )

N/A

HTC don't like to call it a smartphone, let alone mention Android anywhere in the conversation. However women are clearly the HTC Rhyme's demographic whether HTC admits it or not. Rich in features and generously accessorized, on top of being quite attractive, it will easily connect with its target audience.

Samsung Focus S Phone Scoop
Boasting speedy performance, a solid camera and of course Microsoft's Mango operating system
Samsung Focus S

Eric M. Zeman from Phone Scoop ( 2 months ago )

N/A

The Focus S takes all the good things I saw in the Focus Flash and offers them in slightly larger and better-looking package. The Focus S performs well across the board and there's little negative I can say about it.
The worst problems the Focus S has are related to Windows Phone 7's rigid appearance... More

Huawei Honor Ubergizmo
A responsive phone with a user interface that is well thought-out and surprisingly convenient
Huawei Honor

Hubert Nguyen from Ubergizmo ( 2 months ago )

N/A

Although the Huawei Honor is not a “specifications monster”, it is a nonetheless a good smartphone, if you don’t mind much about games and video playback. The user experience is fluid, and it never slowed down on me, except when I started to push the graphics or the CPU in benchmarks.... More

Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro Mobile Tech Addicts
A lovely looking phone with nice QWERTY keyboard but the software again lets a decent phone down
Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro

Chris from Mobile Tech Addicts ( 2 months ago )

N/A

Overall my time with the Xperia Pro was quite a good one, but for me the phone lacks a certain quality that would distinguish it in the mass market and for that reason I am not sure whether it can succeed as I don't think many people would choose this device over some other more attractive propositions.

I... More

HTC Sensation XL Mobile Tech Addicts
Awesome audio quality and the screen is beautiful
HTC Sensation XL

Chris from Mobile Tech Addicts ( 2 months ago )

N/A

The best phone I've reviewed so far with great praise actually as it is by far the best android device that I personally have used so far and I would also say that I've enjoyed doing this review more than any other.
I am at the moment unsure as to what group of people this phone is aimed at due to its... More

Nokia 700 PC Advisor
Small screen, lack of third-party application support
Nokia 700

Sandra Vogel from PC Advisor ( 2 months ago )

7/10

The fact that the smartphone basics are catered for mean the Nokia 700 has decent functionality. However, it may be that bit too small to pass muster as a usable handset, and Symbian 10.1 feels distinctly hampered by a lack of third-party app support.

LG Optimus LTE Android Central
It's thin, it's light, and it's as fast as they come
LG Optimus LTE

Anndrew Vacca from Android Central ( 2 months ago )

N/A

Every review I write elicits the same feeling: this is such an exciting time for Android. Devices are evolving at the speed of light and as soon as you feel like you've got the best of the best, there's something better lurking around the corner. As is the case with the Nitro HD, which currently sits... More

Samsung Focus S GSMArena
Going for the Samsung Focus S is a choice you are unlikely to regret
Samsung Focus S

GSMArena Team from GSMArena ( 2 months ago )

N/A

It seems hard to find a better player than the Samsung Focus S in the US Windows Phone game at the moment. The device’s hardware is as good as it gets for the platform, but its main selling point is certainly the Super AMOLED Plus screen – its ultra-deep blacks and Microsoft’s Metro... More

Huawei Honor SlashGear
Awesome hardware and great performance to offer the mid and high-end smartphone buyer in this crowded Android market
Huawei Honor

Cory Gunther from SlashGear ( 2 months ago )

N/A

Huawei might not be as popular or widely celebrated as the HTC’s and Samsung’s in the mobile world, but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be. If Huawei continues to put out great hardware like this here phone and the award winning Huawei Vision I see no reason to think otherwise.... More

LG Doubleplay Phone Scoop
Features two screens, a split keyboard, and the ability to multitask like almost no other smartphone
LG Doubleplay

Eric M. Zeman from Phone Scoop ( 2 months ago )

N/A

The LG DoublePlay for T-Mobile is a decent phone. It offers a solid user experience as an Android device, and doesn't suffer from the same performance problems that the myTouch Q does.

With its trick extra display, the LG DoublePlay delivers a little but more functionality than the standard Android... More

LG Doubleplay The Verge
The bar is far too high now for the LG DoublePlay to compete
LG Doubleplay

Sean Hollister from The Verge ( 2 months ago )

4/10

When I look at the LG DoublePlay now, I see a great idea that went terribly wrong. There's plenty you can do with two screens, but this handset barely scratches the surface. More importantly, between conception and release the physical hardware morphed into one of the heaviest, bulkiest Android handsets... More

LG Optimus LTE PhoneArena
The Nitro HD speeding past the competition
LG Optimus LTE

John V. from PhoneArena ( 2 months ago )

N/A

So you’re heading into an AT&T store with $249.99 and change stuffed inside your pockets, ready to spend it instinctively, but we’d bet you’re fighting over which one to get. Obviously, these identically priced handsets are at the high-end of the spectrum – and justified at... More

Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket PhoneArena
An admirable offering that’s sure to impress and astound people
Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket

LG Optimus LTE Laptop Magazine
The LG Nitro HD offers a bright 4.5-inch HD display and blazing 4G LTE speeds, but it's held back by poor battery life and a clunky skin
LG Optimus LTE

Sherri L. Smith from Laptop Magazine ( 2 months ago )

6/10

The LG Nitro HD literally outshines the Android competition on AT&T with a brighter and sharper screen than any other handset, and it offers fantastic data speeds (when you're in an area with 4G LTE coverage). However, even at a discounted $149, this smartphone is a tough sell because of its short... More

Motorola DEFY+ Pocket-lint
Survives minor abuse, cheap as chips, great screen
Motorola DEFY+

Ian Morris from Pocket-lint ( 2 months ago )

4/10

The Defy+ is an odd one. It's rugged, there's no denying that. So logically, if you need a rugged phone, then this might not be a bad choice. But that's a long way off a recommendation from us, because frankly, there's so much other stuff that's unsatisfactory about this phone, that it actually makes... More

HTC EVO Design 4G Engadget Mobile
The average performance and so-so battery life keep it from being a slam dunk
HTC EVO Design 4G

Dante Cesa from Engadget Mobile ( 2 months ago )

N/A

The EVO Design 4G is certainly a solid contender when vying for your Benjamin, yet we can't help but feel you'd be better off scrounging and ponying up for a more potent WiMax droid, like Motorola's Photon 4G or Samsung's Epic 4G Touch. The EVO Design 4G while well-made, ultimately is a phone trying... More
