Nokia Asha 300 GSMArena
Cheapest phone to offer a touchscreen, no Wi-Fi, non-hot-swappable memory card
Nokia Asha 300

GSMArena team from GSMArena ( 21 days ago )

N/A

The new Asha series shared the spotlight with Lumia and this should be indicative enough of how important the new budget line is. It's obvious that S40 will be playing second fiddle to Windows Phone but Nokia are in no mood to share the low end with anyone.
And while Windows Phone is Nokia's hope of... More

Huawei Honor Engadget Mobile
Incredible battery life, great performance for a midrange device, above-average display
Huawei Honor

Brad Molen from Engadget Mobile ( 23 days ago )

N/A

The Huawei Honor has been flying under the radar, which is a shame since it's quite the underrated device. Sure, it doesn't have the best chipset available on the market, nor the fanciest components otherwise, but it's one of the best phones we've seen Huawei make to date (let's talk again after the... More

Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 Brighthand
The Galaxy S II series is very impressive and available for a lower initial cost
Samsung Galaxy S II I9100

Jen Edwards from Brighthand ( 23 days ago )

N/A

While there are advantages and disadvantages to each device, there isn't a clear cut winner for this comparison. The iPhone 4S wins when it comes to design appeal, portability, screen resolution, and maximum memory capacity, but the screen is smaller than the Galaxy S II devices, and it doesn't support... More

Apple iPhone 4S Brighthand
Either way you go, you'll be getting an extremely powerful device that will make your mobile life more productive and entertaining than it was before
Apple iPhone 4S

Nokia Lumia 710 GSMArena
Storage is non-expandable, disappointing audio quality, unimpressive battery life
Nokia Lumia 710

GSMArena Team from GSMArena ( 24 days ago )

N/A

The Nokia Lumia 710 has to share what's left of the spotlight with its Lumia 800 sibling - the one with the fancy unibody and AMOLED screen. Looks aside though, the two aren't that different and the 710 does come cheaper.
The screen could have been better - in terms of viewing angles in particular -... More

Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G Cnet
Camera took admirable outdoor shots, nice price and attractive design
Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G

Jessica Dolcourt from Cnet ( 25 days ago )

7/10

There are two things to consider when buying any phone: the handset itself, and the network to which it's tied. For 200 bucks, the Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G is a pretty nice package for a midtier Android phone: it looks pretty good, it has two decent cameras, all the Android perks, and 4G LTE support.

Huawei Honor GSMArena
Poor screen quality, cheapish gloss
Huawei Honor

GSMArena team from GSMArena ( 26 days ago )

N/A

The Huawei Honor is a capable device but it would definitely have a hard time dealing with its “Made in China” stigma.
Huawei is a major telecommunications player and has enough leverage to cut deals with telecoms and we’re sure it will get over the not so noble origin and turn the... More

BlackBerry Torch 2 Pocket-lint
Design isn't great, lots of lag, browser crashes, screen lock key is far too soft, OS isn't as refined as rivals
BlackBerry Torch 2

Chris Hall from Pocket-lint ( 27 days ago )

5/10

The BlackBerry Torch 9810 feels like an incremental step for RIM. The previous handset had obvious problems, some of which are addressed here, but we also feel that the 9810 is the phone the 9800 should have been. That sets this handset behind the times a little and that's certainly not helped by a user... More

Nokia 700 PCWorld
Great build quality and design, bright and clear screen, slick and easy to use
Nokia 700

Ross Catanzariti from PCWorld ( 27 days ago )

8/10

The Nokia 700 is a fantastically well built phone with a crystal clear screen. The small display makes text messaging and Web browsing inferior to alternatives, and third-party apps are limited compared to the competition, but the Nokia 700 remains a solid smartphone.

Motorola DROID RAZR Brighthand
RAZR packs a very hefty pricetag for its evolutionary updates
Motorola DROID RAZR

Adama D. Brown from Brighthand ( about 1 month ago )

N/A

Despite being a slightly older model, the Droid X2 pulls extremely close to the RAZR in sheer speed. But in the end that's not enough to overcome the RAZR's superior screen, better design, and tons more memory.
So do you really need what the RAZR offers? Frankly, it's a toss up. There's no question... More

Motorola MOTOKEY SOCIAL Mobile Syrup
Inexpensive, call quality is excellent, robust build quality
Motorola MOTOKEY SOCIAL

Daniel Badder from Mobile Syrup ( about 1 month ago )

N/A

Thankfully, like all Motorola phones, call quality is excellent. There is an ample-sized speaker on the back for those tinny music urges, and the device, which is around the same height and width as the BlackBerry Curve 9360, is very comfortable to hold in the hand.
There is no doubt that the MOTOKEY... More

LG Optimus LTE Ars Technica
Big, beautiful screen, decent sound quality, battery life isn't bad
LG Optimus LTE

Casey Johnston from Ars Technica ( about 1 month ago )

N/A

The Nitro HD is a big and solid-feeling phone, with a plastic textured back that comes off for access to the battery, SIM card, and microSD slot. The rounded edges and smooth bezel make it a little slippery to hold.
Has a 4.5-inch 720x1280 screen that doesn't use PenTile technology, and as a result,... More

Samsung Stratosphere GottaBeMobile
Fast connection, decent hard keyboard, better than average camera and a good in hand feel
Samsung Stratosphere

Josh Smith from GottaBeMobile ( about 1 month ago )

N/A

Unfortunately the phone has some play on the hinges when open that detract from the overall build quality. A slight bluish hue to the display also works against this otherwise good looking display. The specs are dated compared to phones just a month newer.
While I wouldn’t recommend the Samsung... More

Nokia Lumia 710 Phone Scoop
Light and feels comfortable in the hand, absolutely no performance problems
Nokia Lumia 710

Eric M. Zeman from Phone Scoop ( about 1 month ago )

N/A

The Lumia 710 is a solid smartphone from Nokia and a good addition to the ranks of Windows Phone devices. My only really quibbles with the 710 are the crummy buttons. Otherwise the hardware performs as it’s supposed to. Phone calls, in particular, were excellent on the 710 and it was a strong performer... More

Nokia Lumia 710 TechCrunch
Small, light and bright, crisp screen
Nokia Lumia 710

John Biggs from TechCrunch ( about 1 month ago )

N/A

Be aware that this is not an encomium of the Lumia 710 in particular but a sort of “Wow, they really did it” for Microsoft and Nokia. The 710 is obviously competing against the Radar 4G on T-Mobile and Windows Phone is still missing a few features like unified inbox and a video chat service,... More

Samsung GALAXY Nexus Brighthand
Excellent screen, blazing fast processor but high price and no microSD card slot
Samsung GALAXY Nexus

Adama D. Brown from Brighthand ( about 1 month ago )

9/10

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is, simply put, the most bleeding-edge smartphone currently available. With the fastest wireless, the fastest processor, the best screen, and the newest platform, it's the de facto choice for anyone who drools over having the latest and greatest.
It has a few drawbacks for sure,... More

Nokia Lumia 710 Wired
Cheap, comfortable size, and battery life is excellent
Nokia Lumia 710

Christina Bonnington from Wired ( about 1 month ago )

7/10

The only quibble I had with this handset as opposed to other Windows Phone devices I’ve encountered was that it often took a few tries to successfully click a link from a tweet or status update in People Hub, as if I needed to tap the link in a particular spot (rather than anywhere on the URL)... More

Nokia Lumia 710 MobileBurn
Swift performance, solid call quality, good battery life
Nokia Lumia 710

Dan Seifert from MobileBurn ( about 1 month ago )

N/A

As it represents Nokia's first effort in the U.S. with a Windows Phone 7.5 smartphone, it's hard not to feel disappointed with the Lumia 710. It doesn't turn any heads or break any new ground in design or performance, and there are some issues with the quality of the components in its construction. Still,... More

Nokia Lumia 710 PC Magazine
Fast processor, flimsy screen material, limited, non-expandable memory
Nokia Lumia 710

Sascha Segan from PC Magazine ( about 1 month ago )

7/10

A decent, well-priced device, the 710 would sell well on an already successful platform. But it's not the kind of must-have shocker that would cause people to take a chance on a new OS, and that's what Windows Phone 7 (market share: 1.5 percent) needs. Windows Phone 7 is smooth, easy to use, and delightful,... More
