The LG GR500 Xenon from AT&T is a very pocketable touchscreen feature phone, and the slide-out QWERTY keyboard makes it a messaging powerhouse, thanks in part to the bevy of shortcuts available. The phone is built solidly and offers up a decent battery life. Its built-in loudspeaker is nice and loud, and the music player is robust, too. The customizable standby screen offers plenty of shortcuts for any user, but we found the multiple favorite contacts lists to be confusing. Also, the widgets on the homescreen do not rotate well, forcing them to be repositioned every time you slide the keyboard out. The camera takes decent photographs, and the single LED flash does a great job of illuminating a subject without completely washing things out. The web browser is a joy to use, as well, thanks to AT&T's zippy 3G network. Based on this, we at MobileBurn.com give the LG GR500 Xenon a 'Highly Recommended' rating.
