Packing a pro handset with consumer functions isn't enough to make a successful mobile. The original model wasn't intended for this kind of use and it shows. With no 3G and a small, low-def screen, the Nokia C3 just isn't cut out for surfing the web or social networking.

Moreover, Nokia has cleverly designed the C3 to look and feel like a device from the business-friendly Eseries, altering the interface of the Series 40 platform. The Nokia C3 certainly has its strengths. Its keyboard is excellent, it has a good range of social-networking features and its battery life isn't bad. But it's let down by its dated operating system and lack of 3G support.

Trying this C3 from Best Buy as my first qwerty phone for easier texting. At first glance it's a sexy phone with the shiny front face and matte back plate, feels like a quality peice in your hand. The keyboard is nice too, solid feeling buttons. Nicer than most plastic phones I've been trying... More
