The C2-02 bets on ultimate simplicity, good battery life and rock-bottom pricing

To sum up, the Nokia C2-02 is a decent addition to the company's portfolio in the lower end of the market. It may as well be more than that - a way to make the transition easier from basic call-and-text phones to touch phones.

This is the most user-unfriendly phone I have ever used.

Nothing, no function is easy or quick to be able to be accessed. It's absurd, for instance when in alarm mode one cannot change ringtone by choosing from, say your memory card. One has to go into Apps, of all places, to open up the memory card, select a piece of music and then be given the option to use that music a a ringtone. Right now, I cannot get the alarm function to work. Set the time, set am or pm; set alarm 2 mins before same a.m. or p.m. Time comes and time goes and no alarm!!! The list of twists and turns to access common functions could go on and on. The user manual is most basic and usually unhelpful. I bought this phone by virtue of the reputation of Nokia phones for their user-friendliness. I cannot ever recommend this phone to anyone but a geek.
