Hi folks. Thanks for all the info. I've had my 6265 for 7 months and it's now afflicted with the WSOD. After a dozen attempts I managed to get it up in safe mode and I don't dare turn it off. I wrote to Telus and this is what they said:

I have had this phone for over a year at least and it still works like it's new. Maybe i am just lucky got a good one or i take care of it. Either way this phone is awesome have not had any problems.

You really have to bug Telus for a ticket for this problem and take it to your ORIGINAL place of purchase. I was charged $35 for my wife's phone to be looked at as it is out of "official" warranty. I had the same problem with my son's phone but it was re-flashed under warranty.

Got this phone since April/07, Nothing but troubles. Take them in for a total 6 times, They keep telling me that is the software's problem. Finally give up on them. I'm getting LG flip phone. Hopefully will be a better phone for me. Good luck!
