Super tough, reliable value for a user who wanted just a basic phone that works every time and refuses to die! Over the past 6.5 years, it must have fallen out of my shirt pocket onto pavement at least 30 times, several drops into snow & slush, fell into sand, been sat on & slept on (240lbs)... More

I know that they don't sell this phone anymore, but I still wanted to share a bit about it.
Okay, it's a really basic phone. Nothing special, like a camera or a mp3. It's extremely durable, though. I've had this phone for 5 years and its never broken down on me (physically)

The buttons wear out easily so when you punch in a number on the keypad, it either does not work at all......or sends the number more than once. I sent mine from Verizon back in on a warranty, and the new phone does the same thing. Very frustrating!
