I got this phone in June of 09 and since then had to have the IC board changed 2x. The phone drops calls , no reception, poor battery life, low volume, and sometimes shuts off while using it, Had the Razr V3 an this phone should'nt even have the Razr name in it.

I got as a replacement for my KYOCERA KX444. It finally wore out. It never dropped a call and it had great reception. The VE20 drops calls, has bad reception and battery life is terrible.

I got this phone in January and 3 months after that it started locking up, shutting off for no reason even on full battery and even on charger. I used to have samsumg phones, and I've been thru many things with that brand, that I decided to buy this new motorola, what can I say, great pics, easy menu, I mean, it's perfect, cant complain about signal 'cause I get svc everywhere I go, I think sprint has improved a lot.

It simply fails to do things easily.
the v3a could put contacts into separate groups like personal, business etc... It could also quickly change the alert setup by changing to Silent, Loud, soft, Vibrate. The VE20 has none of this.

I've had this phone for 2 months now and have had no major complaints.

Pros: Feels Solid, Numbers are well spaced out, Menus are intuitive, Call quality is very clear, Speaker phone is great. Battery Life has been great so far.
