It feels weird to call them budget phones since their specs are anything but budget.

Good performance, especially in gaming and video recording

This is a pretty good phones with good specs with good performance, especially in gaming and video recording. The 1785 mAh battery is pretty good which last though out the day with an hour of browsing via 3G, few calls, messaging and 2 to 3 hours of music and images. At an affordable price point with... More

Very good battery life, large LCD excellent for viewing webpages but has poor viewing angles

If you're an Android fan who intends to play loads of 3D games, or to do loads of web browsing and social networking, the Atrix 2 is just the phone for you. However, the poor performance of the camera might be a turn off for some but it's highly subjective and most may not even notice the deficienc... More

It's a solid smartphone available at a cheaper price than one might expect

The Motorola ATRIX 2 is a mild improvement over the ATRIX 4G that preceded it. An improved screen, potentially faster data speeds, and a better camera - overlooking the camera software issues, of course - add up to a better overall smartphone experience. Unfortunately, the only reason many consumers... More

An attractive and comfortable phone with a great screen and solid camera

If you’re on AT&T and not an iPhone user, I’d say that this is a bargain for $99. It beats out the competition from HTC in a number of ways, and feels to me like a solid phone plain and simple. As long as you can get around that stupid flashlight effect.

The phone runs fast, has a bright screen and lasts all day

The Motorola Atrix 2 falls a bit short of the best Android phones, but is in the same league. The phone runs fast, has a bright screen and lasts all day. But if we had to pick an Android phone, we'd either choose the Samsung Galaxy S2 or wait for the Galaxy Nexus - and the Motorola Razr is probably the... More

The Atrix 2 brings dual-core 4G performance to a new affordable price point

At $99, the Atrix can be seen as the more affordable iteration of Verizon’s Motorola and is an excellent value proposition. With improved network performance, a redesigned form factor, gorgeous and vibrant display, the Atrix 2 brings dual-core 4G performance to a new affordable price point and... More

If you're the geeky type, you can have plenty of fun with this 4G phone that, with the right accessories, transforms into other devices

All told, the Atrix 2 is improved, but still faithful to the original. It doesn't reach the performance stratosphere the Samsung Galaxy S II and the Apple iPhone 4S occupy, and the Atrix 2's accessories and various software complexities position it decidedly out of the mainstream. But the Lapdock 100... More

The hardware is solid, the call quality was excellent and the data speeds were satisfactory

The ATRIX 2 is a no brainer for $99 with a new AT&T contract. That said, it isn’t nearly as revolutionary or as exciting as the ATRIX 4G, which launched as one of the first dual-core smartphones and introduced Motorola’s unique Webtop experience. The camera on the ATRIX 2, though updated,... More

The Atrix 2 delivers a bigger and brighter display than the original

For $99, you're getting a lot in the Motorola Atrix 2: A brilliant qHD display, sharp 8-MP camera, and strong dual-core performance. No, the 4G speeds aren't blazing, but this smartphone offered faster downloads and uploads than its predecessor. If you're in the market for an Android smartphone in this... More

A good follow-up to the original, and great for anyone looking to upgrade to a dual-core phone at a reasonable cost

For $100, it’s hard to say no to the Atrix 2. With a dual-core processor and 4G speeds, the Atrix 2 is great for people who want a high-end phone, but don’t want to pay a high-end price. Although putting down the extra dough for the lapdock might not be a worthwhile investment, the Atrix... More
