Inexpensive, solid QWERTY keyboard with great battery life

Though the Sharp FX Plus, certainly looks like T-Mobile's classy smartphone, it’s a less ambitious device. Available exclusively through Walmart, the FX Plus is a good choice for AT&T texters looking to save a few bucks, and it’s the best keyboarded Android phone available on AT&T,... More

It clearly doesn't have anything compelling to make it a superior offering

Since the Sharp FX is a mid-range offering priced at $99.99 after rebates, its performance and set of features make it a compelling offering over its rivals like the LG Vu Plus on AT&T. Not only are we witnessing a rebirth of some sort with the Sidekick line, especially when Sharp manufactured... More

Another quick messaging device for AT&T

The QMD lineup at AT&T is a puzzling mix. They all have QWERTY keyboards, and some have touch screens as well. The FX falls into this latter category. I suppose the primary target for QMDs -- tweens and teens -- might like the SMS/MMS and IM capabilities, and not care much about the weak (and... More

Sharp Kin Two Phone Scoop
Is clearly meant for the Sidekick crowd
Sharp Kin Two

There are omissions on the Kin Two I can excuse. No calendar, no instant messaging, no navigation; I can live without if the target audience really doesn't use these features, as Microsoft's extensive focus research has shown. But the lack of these features is hardly the biggest problem I have with... More

The KIN TWO isn't a smartphone

The KIN TWO is the larger of Microsoft's new KIN series of phones. The devices, to me, are Microsoft's watered down version of Windows Phone 7. There are some similarities, after all, including the panel home screen and a focus on keeping you in touch with your friends - not only through calling... More

Oh my goodness...this phone does not work after having it for only 6 months. Verizon's system does not interface with this phone. There's no place to put a memory card so everything is stored directly on the phone. You have no idea how difficult it is to get it out! I just called Sharp's... More

I bought this phone and was impressed at first with some of its feature but when looking in my package for a users manual there was none. Not only now that microsoft doesnt own it and verizon is still selling it u do not get some of the regular feature that originally came with the phone. it is not worth... More

I like the looks of the phone, BUT the CD does NOT go into enough detail on how to do things with it. I'm not one of those youngsters that can figure out all this stuff automatically. I'm beginning to HATE this phone!

I might like my new phone IF I had a booklet that told me how to use it. The C/D that came with my phone won't download on my computer.
I like the design of the phone. It performs very well on the things I can figure out on my own -

I agree with EVERY other post. My 2008 sidekick will also randomly shut off, or the screen will go black forcing me to turn the phone off....aaaand of course when I do that I loose everything on my phone. I actually have all of my telephone contacts written down in a book so that I can re-enter them... More
