Pantech Caper Cnet
A solid messaging phone for the prepaid crowd, as long as you don't expect multimedia features
Pantech Caper

The Pantech Caper is a very well-designed prepaid phone, with a colorful display, great keyboard, and slim form factor. It does lack multimedia features and the photo quality is not great, but that's typical of most prepaid phones. The Caper is only $39.99, and that's without a contract, which is a good... More

Pantech Burst GSMArena
Design is rather dull and poor battery performance
Pantech Burst

There is plenty to like in the Pantech Burst. The smartphone packs one of the most powerful CPU and chipset combinations on the market, a Super AMOLED screen, and LTE connectivity, all wrapped into an unpretentious looking package. The Pantech twist on Android Gingerbread is a surprisingly nice touch... More

It generally performs well and it's hard to ignore the bargain price

The Pantech Burst may not have the gee-whiz factor of some of the flashier recent smartphones, but it generally performs well and it's hard to ignore the bargain price. It's a good size, the screen is sharp, battery life is excellent, and performance is relatively snappy, though the camera was somewhat... More

Pantech Pocket Cnet
The extra-wide frame, absent camera flash, and poor video playback quality could deter some folks
Pantech Pocket

Its extra-wide face may make you take notice, but at the end of the day, the Pantech Pocket is only as good as what's inside. When it comes down to it, the phone's form and performance have ups and downs. The Pocket can ride AT&T's faster HSPA+ network and can take nice outdoor photos, but call quality... More

Pantech Burst Android Central
A solid and inexpensive LTE phone
Pantech Burst

In operation, the Burst works fine. Calls are clear enough, GPS worked well enough to get me where I wanted to go with no issues, and the overall feel of the OS was a good experience. The screen is a standout, as Super AMOLED at 233 ppi (pixels per inch) should be. Pantech's addition of a PC software... More

I've had this phone for over three years now, giving it constant use and dropping it all the time, and it's never failed on me. Granted, it doesn't have all the features that smartphones have, but what it does have it does great. And it's cheap. I recommend it.

Pro: It was a good music Phone

Con:

Using experience: 5 days

Well when I first got it I kind of liked it but after I used it for a few days and I started texting a lot on it I realized that it was a horrible messaging phone. If you are looking for a good music phone with no data package required... More

Pro: Easy to text on. That's about all that I like.

Con: Bad battery. Really crappy memory that does not hold much. When your messages are full, it doesn't tell you beforehand but right as you are about to send the message. Not the best camera, you have to be really steady to make sure it... More

I finally found a phone that is easy to use, and works well. It even has Font sizes which enables you to make the letters larger. Bluetooth capable and was easy to add to the car. So far the phone works great.

I know this phone isn't on the market anymore, but just in case anyone comes across a cheap used one I figured I'd better throw in my two cents.

This is the best phone I have ever / will ever own.

Sure it doesn't have an mp3 player, expandable ring tones, an HD camera, etc., but if you're... More
