Kyocera DuraPlus Phone Scoop
Excellent battery life, solid feel, inconsistent call performance
Kyocera DuraPlus

Eric M. Zeman from Phone Scoop ( about 1 month ago )

The DuraPlus is as simple as a modern cell phone gets. It offers the most basic calling and messaging features in a body that can withstand blows from Thor's hammer. Despite the insane strength of this phone, it didn't impress me as a an actual phone. For a device that is nothing more than a dedicated... More

Kyocera Milano Phone Scoop
A good voice phone, has good battery life, and a great keyboard for pecking out messages but it excels at little else
Kyocera Milano

There are two basic selling points to the Kyocera Milano: 1. It costs just $29.99 on contract; and 2. It has a keyboard and Android. That's it, though.

While the Milano is a good voice phone, has good battery life, and a great keyboard for pecking out messages, it excels at little else. The slower processor,... More

Kyocera DuraMax Phone Scoop
The DuraMax is durable to the maximum effect
Kyocera DuraMax

The DuraMax's feature set is about as basic as it gets. Kyocera and Sprint are obviously aiming at a particular market segment with this device: those who need a durable phone that makes good voice calls and does little else. In fact, there's really no other reason to get this device if you're not in... More

It's not a perfect phone by any means
Kyocera Milano

Brian K. from PhoneArena ( 8 months ago )

The Kyocera Milano is not a perfect phone by any means. For starters the screen is very poor by just about any standard, which is a big component of the user experience. The processor is a mere 800MHz and memory is just half a gig. All of that said, for a budget smartphone it runs fairly smooth and has... More

Kyocera Echo Pocketnow
A prime example of a novel idea, but a poor execution
Kyocera Echo

The million dollar question is: Are two screens better than one? The answer, in the form of the Kyocera Echo, is no. While the idea is interesting, and while it's true that studies have been done to prove that in the case of desktop computing, two displays are better than one, we can't make the same... More

I purchased this phone in August 2009 on a two-year contract with my service provider. Less than six months away from the end of my contract, I can't wait to get a replacement phone. In the last five months I have taken my phone back to my provider twice because the screen has become pixilated and... More

It's a cool phone but it's so slow! It will very rarely connect to the internet, it didn't send my texts, or let me receive texts for long periods of time and its crazy for sending duplicates. Maybe it was just mine but it was terrible.

I have had this phone for a little over a year and it is really the worst phone i have ever had. I have never dropped it, and it has never gotten wet, but here are some problems i had with it:
-Screen messes up. It either goes completely black, or the colors go all weird.
-Camera will turn a weird green... More

My girlfriend has this cell and I personally think it's ugly! She loves it for its big number keypad because she likes t9. The screen messes up all the time can change colors at any given moment. She requires to turn it off and back on to reset screen. Its so boxy in style looks like a retro cell... More
