The LG Optimus 2X is one of the new breed of GT cell phones, in this case powered by a dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, complemented by a 3D graphics hardware accelerator. That's more than twice the processing speed of some of the top-shelf smartphones that have recently been released, plus the added graphics "Umph!" to make this phone capable of handling games, videos and general internet navigation simple and satisfying.
Android powered, the Optimus 2X boasts a 4-inch screen that ponies up 480 x 800 pixels of resolution, features an 8MP camera with LED flash, secondary, 1.3MP camera, HD video record, MP3 player, FM radio, and native YouTube player.
The Optimus 2X ships with a full, robust HTML browser and built-in support for Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. It offers GPS/navigation, WiFi, Bluetooth and the always welcome 3.5mm headset jack. This phone is HDMI capable and offers memory expansion up to 32GB via microSD/microSDHC.
The LG Optimus offers a talk time up to 7.83 hours and a standby time up to 400 hours.
