I give this phone 10/10 although it is not likely anyone is still going to buy it since there are better tech phone out now.

So I used my warranty and sent it back in. Next problem was they replaced parts of it and I was a new cell phone user. I had quite a time understanding why I couldn't set it back up, and why tech support couldn't help me. It had a new ESN# and the code to reconnect it was different for phones purchased online, apparently... I had to figure out the right things to tell support, had I not, I would have never gotten it reconnected.
After that ordeal, I haven't had any trouble. But given the opportunity, I would try something else.

I am unable to access some of the applications that I purchased from my carrier and the phone will frequently "freeze" up. The phone will ring but I cannot hear, nor am I heard by, the caller.
Occasionally, the only way I can turn the phone off is by removing the back and the battery.
Even "free", I cannot reccomend this phone

So to see for myself I called my cell from another phone and waved the cell around and sure enough it was a distorted mess of a signal.
Some calls did not ring through as well and this is in the city where the signal is strong.
Had to buy and $80 Samsung. Everything is fine now.

It has worked perfectly for me, never dropped a call. Easily worth the $50.

I've had this phone for 8 months. My wife and I both have monthly plans with Virgin. She has the Samsung m 510 which has great reception and call quality. The LG 160 constantly cuts out and drops calls. At home, my wife's Samsung has no issues with clarity and reception but the LG 160 has terrible sound quality and doesn't always ring when calls come in. It's not a network or tower issue as my wife's phone always works and our house is 500 metres and a clear line of site to the nearest Bell tower (who's network virgin uses). There is a reason this phone was so cheap. Avoid it at all costs. If you want a basic phone, go with a Samsung.
Today it quit working altogether. Won't turn on or accept a charge.

I've had two. One is still working flawlessly for over a year now. The second after three months the arrow keys and menu button have stopped working making texting impossible. So I would say 5/10. This is a great, easy to use, reliable phone. I have had one for over a year and it works fine, has no weak points or problems with it's design. It charges quickly and has good talk time and standby time. It will not take surround sound videos nor does it have touchscreen features. If you need a good cell phone for making phone calls and txt msgs then this is a good buy. No extra bells and whistles or fancy 'gee whiz' stuff.
