It's hard to text unless you have small accurate fingers haha. Looks good though and sounds good as a phone and MP3

I def made the wrong choice in phones. This phone is not user friendly, and i've followed the manual in order to put music on it without a blue tooth and nothing. I'm very upset with this and there is no one who seems to be able to help with it. Even simple things to change on this phone are difficult to do.

I love using it for texting, it gives you the input option of using either the keypad, keyboard or handwriting. Talking with it is amazing, you can hear everything crystal clear and it has amazing reception (in my house, NOBODY can get any signal, and this phone works perfectly). I go on twitter and facebook using this phone almost everyday and it works great. However, playing games on this phone is not an enjoyable experience. The touchscreen doesnt work well with most games, and you can forget about using apps because there are hardly any to download for this phone anyway. If you're looking to have a phone you can put apps on and "play" with you might want to look into an iPhone.

I really love this phone ... the touch screen is easy to use and it has very good camera quality. If you buy this phone you will not be dissapointed.

I read these reviews on here and was scared that I had made the wrong choice. But after some playing around with the phone I managed to get the issues figured out.

The way you get the virtual (qwerty) keyboard is to open a new message, open options > input method, then TURN THE PHONE SIDEWAYS and select keypad or keyboard.

Also for the internet problem I went into Settings > Connectivity > Network Settings > Select Network....I chose the "Manual" option and I basically disconnected and reconnected to my network by trying to connect to other ones, then going back to the option that was my network (Since I"m with Solo I selected "solo 2g" but when that didn't work I re-selected "solo 3G" and then I was connected)

Problems:
- The phone can freeze a lot. I find it is whenever I am writing a text message. To get rid of the "freeze" you have to completly take out the battery and put it back in, because hitting end and back does not work !
- I don't like how it doesnt show the whole conversations when text messaging. It only shows one messge at a time, so you cant read the whole converstaion.
Advantages:
- Is easy to navigate, and understand.
- Is light, and slim, so it can fit almost anywhere without looking like you have a huge brick in your pocket.
- Has great touch interaction.

ive had this phone for only three months and it always freezes on me. this phone has poor quality sound, camera, reception, and is poorly made.
this phone is only three months old and is causing constant problems.

its works very well, the radio works fine, im with virgin so the the service is really good

The bad bits:
- the screen scratches very, very easily.
- the reception is very poor, get used to plenty of echos and scratchy sounding calls
- text input is highly inconsistent. Sometimes you can use virtual qwerty keyboard, other times for no apparent reason this is not accessible and you must make due with a virtual T9 pad or the very inaccurate writing recognition. Also the qwerty keyboard is never the default for text input, you have to select it from a menu.

The good bits:
- no problems with the touch interface.
- micro SD card is easily accessible (no need to remove the battery to get to it).
- really like the customizable touch icons for frequently called numbers.

Summary
I've enjoyed LG products in the past, but they cheaped out on this one. It does not work well as a touch device (due to easy of scratching) or as a cell phone (due to crummy quality of calls).
