LG 3300 / Reviews

Had my lg3300 for 4 months now and it just got stuck in "car kit" mode, which means no ringer or vibration. Tried removing battery for an hour. Also tried resetting the phone. No good. Instructions don't even mention a car kit mode. I'll have to send it in for repairs.
Not impressed

Great phone nice and cheap but it is very thick and a little heavy for a phone. Great signal for Montreal QC. Scream is very small but it is easy to press the buttons! I would buy this phone if its your first phone because if you louse it not as much money is gone. Very good

Pros:
1) Low price.
2) Good design.
3) Easy to use.

Cons:
1) Battery Life

The battery life was pretty good when I first got the phone. It would last a week before I would have to charge it. However, after 11 months of low usage the battery would need to be recharged every two days. I would only make about 30 minutes worth of calls each month yet after only 11 months of having the phone the battery needed to be recharged every two days.

2) Call Quality

The phone has two problems. Sometimes during a call the volume on the ear piece would go up and down. It sounded like the call would fade in and out so I would only hear half of what the person on the line was saying. This was annoying. Also, when I am in a somewhat noisy area I cannot hear anything the person on the other end is saying.

Conclusion:
Overall this is a good quality phone with some minor flaws.

At this price you cannot go wrong. Only problem is that is shuts down by itself after a year of heavy use. This includes some pretty rough treatment, so I am buying another LG3300.

Actually this is a pretty awesome phone. I have had it for almost a year now and I have done everything possible that could break it. i've dropped it more times than i can count, i've thrown it across my room, thrown it at people, i've jumped on it on a trampoline, also i dropped it in the toilet and its still going strong.
The only thing i dont like about it is the fact that it doesn't have very many special features. The display is not very good. Its a good basic cellphone though.

My wife has this phone, and loves it. She loves the look, loves that it is a flip phone, and likes the fact that if she looses it, it didn't cost a bundle. Great texting features, a BIONIC vibrator, and a tough little sucker! I don't think you can get a better flip for the price. Virgin right now has the phone on for $79 on its website. And, they currently give you a $25 credit to boot. Then, if you get a referral prior to activation, they will give you an additional $10 credit. So, you are only out of pocket $45 plus paid taxes. NOT BAD!

I have had this phone for about two years now and it is still going strong. Over the past few months the battery life has started to wane, but I do charge it a lot so that could be my fault.

I have dropped this phone more times than I can count, it has gotten wet, it has gotten cold and has never given me a problem. It does not have a camera or mp3 player and Verizon has stopped providing new ringers for this model--they use to have them, but they stopped about a year ago.

The only serious gripe that I have with this phone is the fact that it will not vibrate on silent. It does vibrate, but only with the ringer at the highest setting, so forget being able to discretely get a call with a vibrate feature. If it had that feature I would buy another one, but I think I will have to choose a different phone this time (it is upgrade time) because I really like a phone to be able to vibrate without ringing.

This is a really bad phone. My battery door falls off all the time, and then the battery falls out! Also, my phone just shuts down by itself. I've only had this phone for about a month! Don't get this phone!!

this phone is from virgin mobile *what im using*, it works amazing, paid 74 bucks, :P, nice style touhg phone, i am a mountain biker, and have fliped my bike with my phone in my camle back, and it suvived being soaked, and smashed*which should of happend but it came out fine*, one downside to this phone is that it cannot accept sim cards, meaning it is pretty much locked to this company, no seem editiing for subsidy :((, wahhh, but still it does its job, looks sexy, best of all ITS CHEAP*money wise :P* another 10 for the of wallets dream

I am in the minority when it comes to phones, as I don't want too many bells and whistles! I don't want a camera. I already own 2. I have a computer and a laptop to use a keyboard or surf the web.

I have run over my phone 3 times. Twice with my car (GM Impala), and once with a Astro van. Try that with one of the fancy camera/texter phones! Too bad Bell discontinued them. Phones like these will be valued in the years to come! Even if they will be considered antiques!
