The Kyocera Tomo S2410 is a basic CDMA flip phone offered in black or white, with a thin readout on the cover offering the time and date. Simple and direct.
Inside the S2410 offers a 1.8 inch 128 x 160 pixel color display. The keypad is a familiar alphanumeric keypad, send and end keys and a navigation display resting center-middle above the number keys.
Sadly, this phone falls short in qualifying for a basic feature set. There is not camera, no video camera, not even a music player. The S2410 feels like an old blueprint for a 2005.
Talk time is rated at 3.3 hours and standby time is rated at up to 180 hours.
Even for customers who very much want a simple flip, they can get more than what is offered by this particular Kyocera model. This isn’t meant to impugn the entire line, but clearly Kyocera did not set out to break new ground with the Kyocera Tomo.
