For years High Technology Computer Corporation (HTC ) has made phones for other Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) like Microsoft and Audiovox. Recently they decided to proudly produce products under their own name. Horray!
The HTC S720 Libra is a dual-band CDMA smartphone slider that offers up a rich feature set within an attractive housing. When closed, the Libra measures 103x51x19 mm. It features a wonderful 2.4 inch 240x320 pixel QVGA display capable of producing 65,000 colors. The display uses a light sensor to accommodate even viewing despite available light. Below lies a numeric keypad consisting of nine raised, rectangular buttons that are easy to press. The dedicated send and end keys are located on the bottom left and right respectively.
When you slide out the full Qwerty keyboard the display shifts from portrait to landscape revealing a simple three row pad that is uncluttered and easy to tap.
The Libra is packed with a Qualcomm MSM7500, 400MHz processor, placing it among the more powerful phones on the market. Complimenting the processor is 256MB of ROM and 64MB of onboard RAM, expandable of course. The Libra ships with Microsoft Mobile 6.0.
The Libra will allow you all the functionality of a high-end smartphone, including email, texting, viewing documents and surfing the web. It also clocks an impressive talk time of 7.3 hours (228 hours standby).
But the Libra is not all work and no play; included with the device is Windows Media Player to enjoy photos, music and videos, a 2.0MP camera that can shoot pictures and video, and Bluetooth 2.0 so you can be a monster multi-tasker.

I loved my HTC phone! But then, after the warranty expires, it is no longer very good. The battery will die (even though fully charged) after about 1.5 mins in a call. My text messages arrive a day or two late (even if the phone is on) and the date on the text marks the date I receive it... pretty inconvienent... More
