This is a tremendously powerful, intuitive and functional smartphone. Forget that it’s Android for a moment. Look at it from a user experience perspective: this is one of few smartphones that you can just pick up and use without having to fiddle with settings, widgets and apps.

With its 720p display, a quad-core processor, modern and elegant body and a powerful sense 4.0 user interface, HTC has created the most attractive device with Google's mobile OS.

Basically the same awesome phone as it's predecessor

Jamie Condliffe from Gizmodo ( 7 months ago )

As promised, this phone is fast. Apps snap open, games whiz by with zero labor. Jellybean's impressive Project Butter turns scrolling through lists and screens into some sort of expressionist art: It's hypnotically smooth. It looks like the original X's heat issue has been solved by a faster processor... More

An amazing piece of kit

The HTC One X is fast responsive phone, with a great screen, good build quality, running ICS, (upgradable to Jelly Bean) great call quality, all packed into a sexy sleek body. With a run of the mill camera, and new take on buttons that are confusing to me and will take some time getting use to. Being... More

Phenomenal camera, beautiful display

An incredibly sharp display, strong 4G connectivity, and a blindingly fast processor is enough to make us overlook the overheating issue which, it must be said, is being worked on: A recent OTA update is said to resolve the problem. By our measure the One X takes top honors as AT&T's best Android smartphone... More

Beautiful, powerful phone with a fantastic camera

A beautiful, powerful phone. Fantastic camera. One of the best displays on the market. AT&T’s network is fast in 4G or 3G speeds. Sense 4 isn’t as good as stock Android 4, but it’s the best alternative out there. HTC’s signature protruding camera lens will get scuffed and scratched over the life... More

GSMArena
Superb build quality, no microSD card slot, non-user-accessible battery

GSMArena team from GSMArena ( about 1 year ago )

The AT&T version of the HTC One X has plenty going for it. The smartphone is just as beautiful and well put together as its global sibling, yet still manages to outperform it on almost every occasion. Comparisons aside, the Sense UI 4.0 offers top-notch user experience and the camera is a joy to use... More

Great screen, excellent overall performance, great sound, and excellent camera

There's a lot to love about the HTC One X, and hardly anything to hate (except perhaps the battery meter and the dirt-grabbing back cover). The device is a good size and comfortable to hold, with excellent performance and a lightning fast web browser that is particularly great thanks to the automatic... More

A great smartphone for users looking for a simple operating system, a stylish phone and excellent battery life

Daniel Bader from Mobile Syrup ( about 1 year ago )

The Lumia 900 is Windows Phone’s first really important “hero” device in North America. Its little brother, the Lumia 800, was never launched in the United States, so a lot is riding on the 900′s AT&T release. But TELUS was kind enough to release the 800 earlier this year to great acclaim, and... More

The One X has what it takes to be a fabulous phone

K. T. Bradford from GottaBeMobile ( about 1 year ago )

The bottom line is that the HTC One X is a speedy, beautiful phone with a great display and a camera that should satisfy most average shutterbugs. And, thanks to the inclusion of Beats Audio, there are compelling reasons to leave the separate MP3 player at home. Ice Cream Sandwich and Sense 4 work pretty... More

The HTC One X is a very fast, very powerful handset

Russell Holly from Geek ( about 1 year ago )

The One X is a big phone. Most people will want to use two hands when handling it, as its size exists between the Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Note. The Galaxy Nexus is just barely comfortable in my hand, and the power button placement on the Nexus has a lot to do with that. You basically have to choke... More

This is the best subsidized Android phone in the US today

Myriam Joire from Engadget ( about 1 year ago )

By now you're probably asking yourself, is AT&T's One X really better than the global model? Yes, absolutely -- assuming you can live with the carrier's software tweaks and bloatware. At $199, this is the best subsidized Android phone available in the US today. It arguably dethrones Samsung's mighty... More
