Keyboard stopped working months after purchase

I loved the fact that it was a slide-out with a touchscreen.
I like the touchscreen for surfing, but I needed the physical keyboard for texting and email.
HTC really let me down with the physical keyboard. The keys become slightly unresponsive after a month. Then, you have to focus so much of your... More

I bought this phone as a first step into using smartphones, PDA, etc. and was immediately disappointed. I had several hardware issues over the year I used it. With the earpiece failing, bluetooth capabilities failing, and the SD card failing. I am still not sure where it sent the pictures I took over... More

I originally bought this piece of junk 14 months ago. It has crashed 3 times, to the point Technical Support people couldn't figure it out and replaced it with a new phone twice already. It crashed for the last time 2 weeks ago. My one year warranty ran out - and I am now expected to pay for... More

Needed a smart phone for syncing to outlook, using my home and office wifi to occasionally receive email. Have no need of direct internet connection. Verizon's insistence on forcing a $30.00 data plan, needed or not, with their smart phones soured the deal. Because the carrier insists some users... More

I have to agree with the folks who gave this phone a "less-than-exemplary" rating.
My husband and I purchased this phone (one each) last year site unseen. Based on CNET and other YouTube reviews posted, we thought this is a great way to upgrade my husband from an ordinary phone to a PDA. ... More

I decided to get rid of my home phone and go strictly to a cell. When I signed up with Bell a year ago I got a HTC Touch...free...in a 3 year contract.
With in a month I regretted picking that model, because it did not have a qwerty keyboard. I hated typing txt msg's and emails on... More

Ive had this phone for a few months now and I havnt had a problem with it. It does have a low battery life but once you turn the wifi off when your not using it you are fine. It last about 12 hours. I have no trouble with anything else. Takes nice pictures even if they are only 2m pics, but beyond that... More

Especially with Micro$oft mobile OS. It constantly freeze, and now with the 6.1 upgrade, it refuse to play any song on my card and even won't allow me to move files from card to it's own storage.
I start to realize why so many people hate Micro$oft after I quit it. Yes, I worked there. They... More

As a PDA goes, it's OK, although my old Palm Treo was better. BUT it is a disaster if you're counting on it as a functional phone. Completely unreliable, often going directly to voice mail because it is unable to pick up a signal that every other wireless phone has no trouble with. The same... More

I've had a PDA phone since they came on the market. The more recent have been the Samsung i730 and now the HTC xv6800. I want my Samsung back. I gave it to my sister-in-law and wish I would have given her the xv6800.
-Bad reception. I've had other internal antenna PDAs and this is worse... More

I am inclined to agree with the negative reviews of this device's phone capabilities. It is a good PDA and synchs with Outlook just fine. It is a horrible phone. It has trouble finding and holding a signal (4 bars to no bars to 4 bars without ever moving from where I'm sitting), poor sound... More

The longer I have this phone, the worse it gets at locking up on me. I'm not even a heavy user - mostly have it powered off and like to power on when I need to make or am expecting a call or am out of the office needing to check email. (Don't even get me started on battery life, but I can... More

This is my first smart phone so I'm enjoying the combination phone, PDA and PC. I used to carry a mobile phone and a sony clie; it was a bit cumbersome having two devices. Really, you should probably avoid this phone. It is a very good PDA, and I use it in full daylight, and I can read my Excel spreadsheets pretty well. HOWEVER, this thing is the worst phone ever, If I weren't buying it as a phone, I'd actually be recommending it, but let me repeat, this is... More
