I've had this phone since December 2009 and its a piece of crap! I have to wait for my contract to expire before getting a new BB. You can't update anything - the blackberry app world doesn't even work on this thing. The buttons stick - its god awful!

I've only had my Blackberry Pear for 11 months but, the phone itself freezes and stops working while in use, the buttons are becoming very loose.Not to mention they are small ,allowing it to be difficult to text.The zoom option on the camera doesn't always work. I am very disappointed with my Blackberry Pearl 8100 through Telus Mobility. The device started failing just after I had it over the 1 year warranty. I limped along with it for 6 months and now its completely toast. Telus has not agreed to replace it and at this point will only replace it with a rebuilt... More

A few weeks before my birthday my MuchMusic phone of three years had to die, It was a tank I loved it. So for my birthday my loving parents decided to waste 300 on a blackberry pearl. I was so excited. Now both me and my parents hate it.

I love it. That's all there is to say about it.
Better for smaller hands though, the texting
would be harder I would imagine with bigger
fingers, other than that LOVE IT!
