Hear that rustling noise? That's the sound of a million insecure junior execs opening their wallets simultaneously. Why? A new BlackBerry has just hit shelves. Reflecting RIM's new design philosophy, the 8800 sports a trackball, a full (yet crammed) QWERTY keyboard, and a sharp, vivid display that automatically... More

There is no denying that the RIM BlackBerry 8800 is a very nice device. It is modern looking, yet still offers the same smartphone functionality and the push email system of the older BlackBerry phones. Its user interface might seem a bit vast and archaic to the uninitiated, but I think that the typical... More

This article concludes our series on the BlackBerry 8800. This is an exciting new device from RIM. The media player combined with the microSD slot for expandable memory are a welcome addition to the BlackBerry, and the built-in GPS makes real-time car navigation an exciting reality. This smartphone is something different. The features are endless. If however you are buying a used model even if unlocked for any service provider, make sure that any previous registration has been de-registered, for without this the phone will not be able to use the Blackberry functions (these are what... More

My old blackberry just died for some reason. No insurance so I decided to go to ebay to find a new blackberry "at the right price."

I don't need the books... I didn't even need the charger although that was included in the auction.

The seller had just what I wanted.

thanks!

I bought this phone, not for business, but because I could not text using the useless predictive text on normal phones. It drove me mad! And since using the 8800 I have to say that this phone is fantastic! Alright, the buttons may be a bit fiddley at first but you do get used to them. I also have my... More
