Why won't Lenovo IdeaTab A1000 turn on?
Purchased tablet got it connected up and running then switched it off to wrap as a present now on xmas i can't get the thing to switch on? when charging no indication lights appear....pls help my little boy not happy!!!?

I have an ideatab A1000-F suddenly it turn off and won't turn on! Please help

I had a similar problem. I got a new tablet and the battery was low. I charged it. The charge indicator was visible, however when I went to turn it on nothing happened. Then I just held the on button done for several minutes and it did turn on.
Hi Lynne. I know how you feel. He must have been really excited only to be disappointed. Something similar happened to me with a gift I gave to my son.
I suggest you contact Lenovo immediately to get a replacement.
Hopefully they send one ASAP so your son can use it.
