Why can't I open pictures that went into auto backup on the ZTE Savvy?

Why can i no longer open open my pictures once they went into "auto backup" file?

I let it sit while loading for and hour and half

As soon as I click on photos in my Google + account

Where does that happen? You tried it on Google+ on your browser?

When I click on photos it gets stuck on loading and doesn't go any further

Check your Google+ account and check photos then At the top, touch the drop-down menu > Auto backup.
