What's the best service provider besides Virgin Mobile?

I've been through a lot of situations with the technical service of Virgin Mobile, a service owned by Bell, named Futuretel at the time i was dealing with them. In fact, Virgin Mobile Canada, Futuretel and Bell are three main entities who make one major entity called Virgin Mobile Canada.

In the beginning of 2011 (in January 2011) i signed a three years contract including a new cell phone, a HTC Sensation 4g (Z-710A) now discontinued and worthless only after two years. In 2011, after 3 months of use, my HTC began to work inappropriately, having a lot of bad issues that i described on another message that i've wrote before.

I've sent my HTC phone to Futuretel in June 2011 and i've received it back in September 2011 still broken with this notice : "Bad serial number". They've waited almost four month for this statement. I tried and tried anything to gain something positive from Virgin Mobile but they refused to help me and i still have this phone in 2013.

I don't know what to do. Virgin Mobile was not bad in everything, but this past issue is something that i have to consider in a change for another company. The quality of the 4g/3g signal decreased till the begining of 2013 knowing that Virgin Mobile used the Bell signal, and it is my point of view, i don't know if it is the same for a lot of you. I live near Québec city, and normally i would have a decent signal quality. But it is not.

So, i begin seriously to think about another company to deal with. I thought about Telus, and may be Rogers (Here's in Canada we don't have as much company that the United states have) I also begin to think about my right to have a working android phone and i'm talking about a device priced at the same level than my HTC was in 2011 : 750 dollars not less.

So if some of you have some suggestions to make, i'm open to every suggestions possibles. Thanks in advance,

André

1st of all, you do not need to spend a fortune on a good cell phone. Unless of course you choose to. For a fraction of that money, you have quite a bit to choose from if you go with a contract. And the 2nd option is to buy out your own phone, preferably unlocked. An unlocked phone and a month to month plan, gives you the flexibility to jump from one cell phone provider to another, whenever you like. I`m currently under contract but can`t wait to get out of it and after that, good by contract!
I have check out pretty much all the "big 3" mobile network providers and they are all the same. What`s really missing here (in Canada) is competition. I just came back from a 3 weeks trip from Europe. Took my cell phone with me (unlocked) and at my destination I walked into an Orange mobile store and for what`s equivalent of US$18 I bought a plan that included:activation, 2000 minutes talk and/or text, 500Mb of data, 100 minutes international anytime with US or Canada. Are you kidding me? At what cell phone network here in Canada, are you gonna be able to get that? For that price? And, according to some statistics, Canada mobile network providers, offer much better rates than many other networks .... really? Those people should get out in the real world more often....

And like it is not enough Virgin Mobile Canada will endorse and make the same thing that Bell does : Making our privacy a game, something that they owned and that they can share ! So no ! no and no ! to these liars
