The LG Rumor Reflex is a BREW Mobile-powered CDMA handset that’s available with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard behind a full-touchscreen display. Its main features include a 3-inch 240x400 pixel resolution screen, a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, 512MB internal storage, 256MB RAM, and a single core CPU clocked at 480MHz.
Since it’s a feature phone, it doesn’t have the latest specs in terms of either smartphone hardware or software. But somehow, it’s still better than many other models out on the market today because it combines the use of a touchscreen display and full QWERTY keyboard for input. Although the amount of internal storage space is limited, you can easily add more to it by way of microSD cards. Also, the standard battery is good for over 5 hours of talk time with every full charge.
As a BREW handset, it supports a number of small third-party software programs for media sharing, games, and even messaging. However, the app selection is not that great. While it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of today’s smartphones, there is no denying that this phone is good easy messaging on the go. If you don’t care for high-end innards or a sleek outer appearance but want to easily take care of your messaging needs wherever you are, then the Rumor Reflex easily fits the bill.
