What do you like most about the Android KitKat update?

Android 4.4 KitKat is here. What stands out as the most interesting, even if not the most talked about, new feature?

    How about...

Faster multitasking - the OS seems to be getting faster and faster each time and this time around, Google promises even biggest boosts. That’s going to mean good things for multi-tasking.

Memory optimizations - Tying in to what's been said above, Google now touts memory optimization as one of Android 4.4 KitKat's main features. In fact, thanks to the overall reduction in memory use, the latest version of Android is said to be more suited than ever for entry-level devices, even those with as low as 512MB of memory.

New default apps - Pre-bundling can be annoying but I like the new default apps. There's a built-in productivity suite in the form of QuickOffice. Google Earth has also been added to complement Maps, The other additions are merely updated versions of old apps, like Downloads, Clock, Photos, and Dialer but these all contribute to a feeling of having a completely new OS.

Built-in screen recording - capture a real time video of what's happening on a device's screen...that’s pretty great and probably especially useful for app developers and device reviewers.

Immersive mode - It's full-screen everything. What's not to like? This feature will let apps utilize every pixel on the screen, and so it will be even more possible to completely zone out and get lost in whatever it is that you are doing. Reduced distraction.

Lockscreen enhancements - There’s a new cover art display feature on the lockscreen so whenever you are playing songs a full-screen of the album artwork gets thrown up onto the display when its locked. (On-screen controls will still work). Other changes to the lockscreen include a dedicated camera button as well as a toggle for easy access to Google Now.

"OK Google" - No need to touch any buttons in order to start doing stuff. Use the voice-activated features by saying "OK Google" while on the homescreen. This will allow you to send text messages, play songs and search on the Web, all without touching a button.

Miss anything? Those are the notables for me.
