How can you use a second-hand Motorola i530 with Mike?

okay so i got a semi-new mike motorola i530 phone. i found it very randomly in summer school. its got the SIM card and some info in it. i wanna know if i can just deactivate it, start it up again and use phone cards ? because i dont want any plan.. or will i have to register thru this mike bullshit or whatever ? like where would i start? i obviously know nothing about phones so please insult me before giving me information.

I don't know if I understand you correctly, but if you 'found' the phone shouldn't you turn it in?
