What does “Service Mode” on the Audiovox 8910 mean?
Cell phone audiovox 8910, keeps saying phone is offline and in ***service mode*** please power recycle the phone to make calls.

Pease,
Power your phone off. Remove the battery and sim card, replace battery and sim card and turn your phone back on. This should solve your problem.
geek grrls instructions are fine, except your phone is of CDMA technology so there is no SIM card. You probably discovered that though. Hope you fixed it!
having same problem with 8920. Have talked to provider, nada. Have been searching for answers. Problem not unique. Battery idea no go. Must be some idea somewhere to fix it.
