How to turn on the Apple iPhone 3G?
My iphone won/t start. It as been plugged in all night and wont show anything but a lighted screen?

Have you tried plugging your iPhone to your PC/Mac? If not yet, then plug it and see if iTunes will recognize your device. If it does, do a Restore and when it's done your device will be back to normal.
If iTunes does not recognize your device after you plug it in, download TinyUmbrella.
Your device must be plugged in. Click on Fix Recovery, and after a while, your iPhone should go into Recovery Mode and you should be able to the instructions I have mentioned above.
