How can you set time and date on the LG 3200?

Ok ive had this magnificent Lg3200 for 2 days, i'm not joking, and everything was going well until the date and time dissapeared from the main screen and the date switched to January 4th 1981???!?!??!
Anyone with a solution,before the telus employee who sold it to me gets his product up his ***
