How to send a message to multiple people at once on Motorola Moto G?

I want to send a single message to multiple contacts..how do I select multiple contacts for sending simple message?

Yes, I agree with previous answer.  Press the small +- sign at top right and you can then add multiple recipients with the same message.  You can even do it by sending the message spearately to each recipient instead of sending it as a group email.

If you google the question, you should get the above answer.

Hope this also helps.

Bill's solution works. Alternatively just add a comma after a contact and enter (or select) another contact. The grey smileys will appear automatically to separate the multiple contacts.

Have moto-E and just noticed if you use the '?1smileyface' keyboard there is a '+' and it will open up the contacts so you can send to multiple people.

Ok, here's another way: Install an SMS app like Go SMS Pro. Once installed, go back to my 1st answer and try it again. Please let me know if this time it works.

But there is no + sign in moto g phone...is there some other way?? Pls help me out...really stressed...:(

When composing a message, you should see the text box on the top of the messaging app where you enter contacts to send message to. Can you see a plus(+) icon? If you see, tap it. That's where you choose multiple contacts to send a message.
