Why won't your phone power-on with a new replacement battery?
I removed the battery and replaced it with same but now the phone wont turn on

Check if the battery was damaged in any way during the time you removed it. You can also try borrowing a battery from someone who has the same phone and if that will make your phone work then it just proves that your battery has been damaged and you have to buy a new one. But if it doesn't, it's possible that there is something wrong with your phone. Either way, you should visit the store where you bought your phone to have it checked.
