I have fixed the problem with connecting to wifi. Go to the updates, check if there is an update for your phone, Then switch off (not restart, but shut it down) Leave for 5 minutes and turn on again. I did this steps and the problem was gone.

Hey guys. I have good news for you. I had the wifi intermittent and slow all week after buying it. I found out in one of the forums in FB that the cause is the cache. I am not sure if this is a permafix as I have only fixed this a few moments ago. So here it goes: -Go to storage and look for "cache" click it to be prompted to delete it. -Delete/Forget your wifi network -Restart/Reboot the phone Voila!! Normal latency and bandwidth back again. Verified this by running speedtest app several times. Let me know your thoughts and if this worked for you.

my lenevo a7000 is good enough to connect and operate with wifi within my home..
i frends tells the same.. but in my phone the problem is not yet there

I am facing a problem with WiFi.. it's not connect with other device, hotspot, router even share it also.. BT when I switch off n on the phone than just for first time its connected.... bt after that same issues are coming.... I have done factory reset.. bt problem is same.... can any one help, please...

Following steps worked for me (Android L 5.0):-

1) Go to Wi-fi advanced settings by selecting three dot icon at top right corner at WLAN page.

2) Turn on WLAN binding

My phone doesn't connect to wifi. 3g data connection is pathetic. Even if it shows full network coverage it doesn't load. It's only 3 months old. Shame on you lenovo. Getting rid of you asap.

you need to do hard reset manually

for this..
backUp your apps Backup sms and contact to SD card
switch of the phone remove SD Card insert batry again
and now hold Volume (Up + Volume Down + Power Button) together
keep holding it till it shows you the logo lenovo
and it will quickly enter in Stock recovery

there u will see some Option
reboot phone
Install Update
Reset Fuse data etc.

select the third option and follow the screen instruction And format it..

and click on Back
then select

the Fourth option And Then Follow the Screen instruction And Format it..and the Click On back

Now click on reboot

now it will take so time About 5-10 min to start your device So Don't panic
it will show you welcom screen after 5-10 min

it will surely solve you problem

Found a solution. Shutdown your phone(Do no restart). The again start your phone. The problem should go away. Atleast this worked for me.

I am also facing the issue recently on my mobile. While the wifi is getting detected on other mobile, in my lenovo, it says it is not in range.

I have been facing this issue only recently. Not sure if an update from lenovo has caused this.
