Why do I still get charged for internet usage even though connected to home Wi-Fi on the Motorola Moto E?

I have  Moto E connected to plusnet  home WiFi but still being charged for internet usage with  EE pay as you go?

The menu is'nt the same as the moto G which people have descibed a fix for .

Make sure that data connection is turned off when not in use. If you don't, your phone can accidentally use data when Wi-Fi network is unavailable.
