Will an unlocked US phone that operates GSM work with Koodo Mobile?
I have an unlocked US phone that I understand operatsd on a GSM network. Will it work on the Koodo network?

Maybe.
Let me explain.
Koodo's network is based on GSM but it doesn't have older 2G capabilities. This means that the whatever phone you are trying to use, it must support 3G HSPA 850/1900 Mhz.
Older GSM phones might not work.
To know for sure, Koodo offers a page on their site to check compatibility.
Visit this link and enter your IMEI. Koodo will let you know if you can use your unlocked phone on their network.

Dial *#06# If it works, your IMEI will pop up
