How to save contacts to SD card of the ZTE Majesty?

Wendell

I have a ZTE and this worked good
Backup and restore contacts
1. Insert a Micro SD memory card into your phone, and then turn it on.
2. From the home screen, tap Contacts .
3. Press the Menu key, and then tap Import/export.
4. Tap the desired option:

Thanks so much for the answer on how to export contacts to SD card on ZTE Majesty phone. I had spent 30 minutes with Straight Talk Chat and they ran out of answers and just disconnected. They couldn't even tell me where the import/export option was! Soooo glad there are people willing to share their knowledge with those of us not "cell phone smart"! Thanks!!

I see no import/export button how do I import from my SD card to phone?

That's great to know. If there's anything else we can help you with, simply post another question on the Q&A Forum.

Sorry, I think I'm lost. Were you able to make a backup of your contacts to your SD card?

Thank you!
I have the ZTE and wanted to save the contacts to my SD card. Your directions were perfect. I couldn't find the import/export under menu.

Thank you.

I can't seem to find anything to save your contacts to SD card, what you can do is back them up to your SD card. To do so; open Contacts > press Menu key > Import/Export Contacts.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but you are trying to transfer contacts from your ZTE Majesty to your iPhone? If yes, backup your contacts first (steps are just above), then make sure your contacts is synchronized with your Gmail account. Then go to your new iPhone. Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and add your Gmail account. Make sure Contacts are enabled for the account. You should now find that all of your Google contacts are in your iPhone.

Please let me know how it goes.

I do have a Gmail acct. This is my first IPhone and I feel like I have three hands. How do I back my contacts up on Gmail. and/or save them to your SD card. I'm wandered around all the setting info and can't find the correct place to back this items up.

I'm not sure if this is possible without using a third party app. But what you can do is backup your contacts and save them to your SD card. Do this regularly and I'm pretty your contacts is safe. I also suggest that you use your Gmail account to save contacts so you always have a backup of your contacts on your Gmail account, which is rather easier to do cause it automatically backups contact info.
