Why won't the Samsung Galaxy Ace II X make a sound when receiving a text?
How do I disengage "do not disturb" mode from text notification? All other sound functions are activated, only text notification is not.

In home screen, press the volume up key 'til you see the bar popping out to max.
Go to your message app > open its Settings > notifications > choose a notification.
Try if this time it makes a sound when receiving a new message.
