Can the Motorola V400 handle data and how to tell if it's locked?
Motorola V400 - I purchased this phone from a prepaid service. Now I wish to connect it to a different prepaid service and need to know if it handles 1700MHz band and how to tell if it is locked. Thank you

The Motorola V400 has a Web browser and it does use data. To check if the phone is still locked, insert a SIM card from a carrier other than the one your phone was originally with. If that SIM card works, then your phone is already unlocked. In case you don't know the carrier your phone was originally with, just insert 2 SIM cards from 2 different carriers. If both works, then that means it's unlocked.
