  • Almost all phones now include a small water exposure sticker underneath of the phone's housing. This is used by technicians to determine if the phone was exposed to water and help determine the cause of any problems that may arise.

  • I have a zte F160 phone and some one borrowed it I think they exposed it to water I cannot hear callers and the speaker or water ever that is one the back of the phone looks red. Would this be the indicator for water exposure? Is there any other way for me to tell if it has water damage?

  • My ZTE F160 won't charge. I took it in to AT&T, and they told me I had water damage. The same rectangular speaker-thing on the back of my phone is red, and AT&T is trying to tell me my phone has been exposed to water. I've never dropped my phone in water or has it been exposed to anything beyond a little rain. I haven't been able to find anything about water damage with the ZTE F160. Marie, was your problem resolved?
