Can I buy a phone from the US and use a Rogers SIM card in it?
I am sick of waiting for Canadian providers to actually have a phone I want. Could I buy a U.S. phone and activate it in Canada, prefereably on Rogers but right now i don't really care. I know I will have to pay full price forthe phone, but at least I hve something that is useful

It is definitely possible to use another provider’s phone on the Rogers network, as long as it is unlocked and a GSM phone. To find out if your phone is already unlocked, insert a SIM card from a provider other than the provider it was originally with. If that works that means it's already unlocked.
