My parents are planning to travel from Vancouver , BC. Canada to Palm Springs, California. They would like to have a phone for basic calls back to Canada and use it only as a necessity. The $15.00 prepaid Virgin Mobile plan appears useful. Could they add a US travel data pass to this plan? What would this cost and what kind of long distance minutes would they have per month?
