Why do people see numbers and symbols throughout the text message I send to them using my Alcatel One Touch Pop Icon?
Alcatel one touch pop icon straight talk. when I send messages they have numbers and symbols throughout the text. somet imes the pers on will receive @ signs and nothing else! why?

Hi beverly. Which phone are you using? If it's an Android phone, can you try using a 3rd party text messaging app and see if it the same happens.
No I am not sending a text with more than 160 characters. Still people telling me they only get @ sign. Why?
Are you guys sending a long text message? Can you try to send a message with less than 160 characters please.
The same thing is happening to me...people tell me my texts are being received as a bunch of symbols, but mostly @ signs
