Why did the phone icon disappear after updating Samsung Galaxy S4?
A few days ago I updated my Samsung Galaxy S4 and after that the phone-contact / phone-call icon disappeared from the home screen. Could you please resolve this issue as soon as possible? Thank you.

Go to the app drawer and locate the phone icon. Tap and hold on it until the home screen shows up. You can now drag the phone icon to your chosen home screen.
